【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthecharacteristicsofgeneral-purposerepositoriesusedforthelong-termstorageofarchiveandlibrarymaterials.Itcoversthesittingandconstructionofthebuildingandtheinstallationandequipmenttobeused.Itappliestoallarchiveandlibrarymaterialsheldingeneral-purposerepositories,wheremixedmediamaybestoredtogether.Itdoesnotprecludetheestablishmentofseparateareasorcompartmentswithinindividualrepositories,wheretheenvironmentcanbecontrolledtocreateconditionssuitingtheneedsofspecificarchivematerials.Itdoesnotcoverspecialrequirementsforthelong-termstorageofnotornotfullypaper-baseddocumentssuchasparchmentorvellum,photographicdocumentsormachine-readabledocuments.Italsodoesnotcoverrepositorymanagementprocedures.Inanumberoffields,nationalorlocalbuildingregulationsmaycoverindetailsuchmattersasconstruction,safetyandsecurityforpublicbuildingsandbuildingsinwhichvaluableobjectsarestored(fireprecautions,emergencyexits,securityagainstearthquakes,theft,burglary,terroristacts,etc.),aswellasservicesandequipmentinprofessionaluse.ThisInternationalStandardthereforeavoidsdetailedrulesandregulationsinthesefields,exceptwhenrecommendingwhatmaybeadditionstotheserequirements.
