【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedforevaluatingperformanceofcommerciallyavailableanion-exchangematerialsregardlessofthebasicstrengthoftheionexchangegroups.Whenpreviousoperatinghistoryisknown,agoodinterpretationofresinfoulingormalfunctioncanbeobtainedbycomparisonagainstareferencesampleofunusedion-exchangematerialevaluatedinthesameway.Whileresistivityhasbeenchosenasthepreferredanalyticalmethodfordefiningtheexhaustionendpoint,withtitrationasthealternative,itisunderstoodthatobservationofpHduringrinseandtheserviceruncanyieldusefulinformation.ThevariationsinpHobservedwithanionexchangematerialsuspectedofhavingdegraded,canbehelpfulininterpretationofperformancewhencomparedwithsimilardataforareferencesampleofunusedmaterialexhaustedinthesameway.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheoperatingcapacityofanion-exchangematerialswhenusedfortheremovalofhydrochloricandsulfuricacidfromwater.Itisdesignedtosimulateoperatingconditionsforstrongacidremovalandisintendedforuseintestingbothnewandusedmaterials.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninNote.
