【摘要】:1.1Porcelainenamelcoatingsareappliedtometalstoprovideprotectionfromcorrosionaswellastoenhancetheirappearance.Thistestmethodpermitstheeasydetectionofdiscontinuitiesandareasoflightcoverage,notreadilyseenbyvisualinspection,whichlimittheprotectiontothesubstrate.SomewhatsimilartestsapplicabletothethickerglasscoatingsusedforchemicalreactionvesselsarefoundinTestMethodsC536andC537.1.2ValuesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Inch-poundunitsareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
