【摘要】:Resilientfloorcoveringismadebyfusingpolymermaterialsunderheatorpressure,orboth,invariousmanufacturinganddecoratingprocesses.Thepolymermaterialmaybecompoundedwithplasticizers,stabilizers,fillers,andotheringredientsforprocessibilityandproductperformancecharacteristics.Theformulationofthecompoundcanbevariedconsiderablydependingonthedesiredperformancecharacteristicsandmethodsofprocessing.SeePracticeD794foradditionalsignificanceanduseinformation.Heatstability,whichisresistancetodiscolorationfromheat,isabasicrequirementforprocessingandfunctionaluse.Thistestmethodprovidesameansofmeasuringtheamountofcolorchangeinflooringproductswhensubjectedtoelevatedtemperaturesoveraperiodoftime(functionaluseoftheflooringproduct).Thistestmethodisnotintendedtobeameansofpredictingtheamountofcolorchangethatoccursduringprocessing(manufacture).Thistestmethodspecifiesthatasampleissubjectedto158x00B0;Fx00B1;2x00B0;F(70x00B0;Cx00B1;1x00B0;C)for7days,andthecolordifferenceismeasuredbyaspectrophotometerandexpressedasx0394;E*units.Note18212;Itistheintentthatthistestmethodbeusedfortestingheatstabilityperformancepropertiestobereferencedinresilientflooringspecifications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedurefordeterminingtheresistanceofresilientfloorcoveringtocolorchangefromexposuretoelevatedtemperatureoveraspecifiedperiodoftime.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
